Uptown Pub Down Under

First time in SJ and at this fine establishment, service was awesome, food was great came out nice and hot and no long wait times, beer was ice cold and lots of options on tap.We went on wing night(Sunday) wings were good size and cooked perfectlyTo top it off you can’t beat the prices we had the 2 lobster rolls with fries, 60 wings(photo only shows first 40), a pint and a ice tea with a double shot of peach schnapps and with tip our bill was only 105.Will definitely return here our next time in SJ!

Came in here solo just looking for a place to sit and drink, and had a very enjoyable experience. Got 2 burgers for 7 dollars as the special which was exactly what a fella wants after a few beers.

Great place. Cheapest wings in Saint John, so load up!!!! on some nights, they have a live band. Overall, a good spot with an awesome crew.

Let’s start off with the customer service. This is what attracts to the bar. We are A couple from New Mexico visiting this bar thousands of miles away. Our bartender Holly had the best customer service. She was at one point A fellow Harley Rider. She knows the meaning of customer service. Loved her! The food and beer were very good. Lobster rolls and fries served with gravy. Amazing. We never looked at the ketchup bottle. She let us sample A few beers until we found the perfect one. If we’re ever back this way we’re coming back!

Everything was great. Prices were super reasonable and our waitress was awesome. We got the lobster rolls and i got the lobster grilled cheese. We also got a side of gravy for the fries. The whole meal was delicious. And the drinks were perfect. I cant remember what the drink was called but it had southern comfort in it on the double menu and its the best mixed drink ive had in a long time. Thank you!

Could be the best pub in the city. Nice atmosphere fair prices and good food. Today we had 25 chicken wings and 2 beers for 31 CAD. Somedays there is live music. Sometimes it is difficult to find where to park

We ended up at the Pub Down Under as Beer Bread was closed. I ordered the Philly Steak, it was nothing special, but comforting. The real surprise was that as it was Monday, it came out to 7.50, well worth the dish.Service was excellent. The company compensated for the lack of atmosphere, and the boiling heat under the incandescent lights.
